Social Brew Cafe

Social Brew is another cafe that's going on our brunch list! Mr Piggy and I are always on the lookout for nice cafes serving brunch for the weekend. After discovering some scrumptious photos online, we decided to pay a visit.

The setting is pretty casual, and no queuing was required, which was a relief (especially when you haven't had any food).

Wood Smoked Salmon Benedict, Sautéed Kale & Wasabi Hollandaise Served on Brioche $18.5
A simple dish that was spot on, smoky salmon, runny egg yolk, crunchy kale, soft and buttery brioche, and last but not least creamy hollandaise... everything you can ask for was on this plate.

Ricotta Hotcakes, Maple Marinated Strawberries w/ Pistachio Butter $15 Bacon $4
One of the best pancakes I ever had, the texture was soft and fluffy. To be honest, I didn't think these pancakes would be that good, the only minus was the bacon was a little too charred.

Apple, Beets & Ginger $6Salted caramel $6
We liked how the juice had a nice gingery punch to it, as for the shake, it was a little sweet for us. Overall, the food was great and the portion was generous.
